Newsletter of the SFBMA

Cognition is the official newsletter of the SFBMA, and a publication committed to organizing and fighting for better working conditions for messengers. We wish to see this sheet be a site for info sharing (times and places of gigs, races, meetings...), updates on SFBMA developments, as well as a forum for discussing and debating ideas on a course of action.

Our hope is that Cognition can assist in sharpening the focus of the SFBMA, spread information, and incite debate. While you will find differing perspectives in these pages there is a broad area of agreement: we want to see messengers improve their working conditions. Like the SFBMA itself, we are grappling with how to develop the neccessary collective power to do this.

It is hoped that a great deal of Cognition will be made up of submissions from all y'all out there. Cognition accepts letters from friends and foes alike. It is currently published monthly.
